closed loop orchard

Tree ripened, seasonal spray free fruit

Our Closed Loop Orchard offers apples, pears, nashi pears, plums, lemons, grapefruit, figs and quinces that are grown organically and regeneratively. We have a bakers dozen varieties of apples and plums and six varieties of pears. We also preserve our own olives and make apple cider vinegar and both they are available to purchase.

Our freshly picked fruit is available between January and May from our cellar door on most Saturdays and Sundays between 11am and 4pm. Bring your own box or bag and weigh your own.

Check our Instragram and Facebook pages for details of what produce is available during the season.

TOURS

We offer our Organic and Regenerative Small Farm Tours on Saturdays, click here for more details.

Murray has presented to countless international buyer delegations, investors, corporates, politicians, farmers, school and TAFE groups on a wide range of topics including;

Regenerative and net zero viticulture, Reducing nutrient loss, Unlocking soil fertility, How to grow disease and pest resistant plants with nutrient dense produce, How diversity can reduce costs and improve yield.

CONSULTING

Murray and Pam can help you in so many ways. Establishing an espalier orchard, how to graft grapevines, how to create healthy, productive fruit trees that can better resist pests and diseases without buying expensive inputs, what fruit trees will grow in Albany (lots, actually).

Or, are you thinking of farming more in tune with nature but you need a bit more information to be convinced of the benefits? I can help with that. We’ve been exploring this for over25 years.
